Lydia Lis
Lydia Lis started playing violin when shye was 6 and attended, both, local music camps and Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan. As a Rhode Islander, she grew up participating in Solo and Ensemble, All-State Orchestra, All Eastern Honors Orchestra, RI Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and Ocean State Youth Orchestra. In 2008, Lydia gradutated from the Univerisity of Rhode Island with a Bachelors of Music in Music Performance (violin). She loves teaching violin and has been since 2004. Currently, she plays in the RI Philharmonic Community Orchestra and often at weddings. She grew up in Jamestown and graduated from North Kingstown High School. After graduating from URI, she moved to Providence and enjoys all the city has to offer.
