Bridget
Guerriero
Bridget Guerriero is an elementary music teacher at Maisie E.
Quinn Elementary School in West Warwick, RI where she teaches
PK- 5 general music, band and chorus. She was raised in Wheeling,
West Virginia in a musical family. Her father is a music professor.
She attended a small college, West Liberty State College where
she obtained her Bachelor's in Music Education with an Instrumental
Emphasis. Flute was Bridget's major instrument but like all majors
there is an opportunity to learn to play all of the instruments.
After college she landed her first teaching job
in Culpeper, VA but only stayed a brief two years and was off
to teach in Columbus, Ohio for a year. Then she moved to RI, where
she has stayed and taught for the past 10 years. During that time
she also went to school at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA
where she received her Master's in Music Education.
Currently, Bridget has been taking classes in
West African music and drumming and participating in Pautuxet
Valley Community Chorus.
