Rufus Brothers
Rufus Brothers has been playing the drums since age 11 and has been teaching and sharing his enthusiasm for drumming for the past 6 years. He has studied with Mike Sweeny, Alex Chapman and Randy Cioutier, all excellent percussionists based in Rhode Island. He has played with many groups in RI, most recently with Interplay, an original jazz fusion group, Iola, a cover trio that lays music from the 50's to the 80's and the Pall Bearers. He enjoys playing, teaching and listening to many styles of music including Jazz, Rock, Classical, Latin, Metal, Bluegrass and Rap.
